HERO UCI Marathon-Weltcup
Five of Europe’s most beloved mountain bike marathons come together for the first time in an epic challenge that will crown the World Cup champion. This incredible circuit spans a total of 431 kilometers and 16,050 meters of elevation gain.
The journey kicks off in May with the Capoliveri Legend Cup powered by Scott on Elba Island/Italy, followed in June by the Naturland - Andorra and the HERO Südtirol Dolomites in Val Gardena/Italy, the marathon that also lends its name to the World Cup. In July, the spotlight moves to the Black Forest ULTRA Bike Marathon in Kirchzarten/Germany, while the final stage takes place in September in Spain at La Tramun Sea Otter Europe in Girona/Costa Brava.

Capoliveri Legend Cup
Capoliveri - Italy / 10 May 2025
The Capoliveri Legend Cup began in 2010, inspired by the 1994 XC World Cup in Capoliveri. Set on the stunning Monte Calamita, the race offers breathtaking views, Mediterranean landscapes, historic iron mines, and a unique microclimate. The course combines the iconic 1994 World Cup track with over 120 km of trails, including single tracks, mule paths, and forest roads.

This is a unique event which, due to its geographical location and its place in the calendar, will attract many of the best riders in the discipline. The race will have a spectacular route that will take cyclists through the paths and trails of the stunning landscapes of the Pyrenees. The race is part of the Bike Show Naturland, an exceptional event where cycling lovers can enjoy a weekend full of cycling activities, such as the Shimano Super Cup Massi, the MTB Marathon Cup, the UCI XCM World Cup or the Super Cup Youth for the youngest riders.

In 2025 the HERO will celebrate the 15th edition of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites, the toughest mountain bike marathon in the world.
Moreover, this will be the 3rd stage of the UCI HERO Cross-Country Marathon World Cup. Aspiring World Cup champions will have to compete on the 86 km and 4,500 hm course around the Sella massif.
Cyclists will have to tackle demanding climbs, technical downhills, and different types of terrain across the four Ladin valleys of the Sellaronda and the Seiser Alm. A challenge which will push all participants, amateurs and pros alike, to their limits – a veritable test of their mental and physical stamina, the hallmarks of true heroes!

"Everyone who finishes the ULTRA Bike is a winner." This sentence was coined by Mike Kluge shortly after he won the first edition of the Black Forest ULTRA Bike Marathon in 1997.
118 kilometers and over 3,500 meters of altitude characterize the traditional race in the heart of the Black Forest. The race takes place on and around the Feldberg mountain that, with its 1492 meter peak, is the landmark of Germany's largest low mountain range. Join us in the Dreisam-Valley and the Upper Black Forest to be part of this atmospheric marathon classic that attracts around 5,000 cycling enthusiasts year after year.
